FundingPips payout cycles: which one to lock before the first trade

On 2 Step Standard the payout cycle is chosen before you trade and cannot be changed later. The choice moves the split from 60% to 100% and decides whether the 35% consistency score applies to you at all.

The four cycles on 2 Step Standard

FundingPips is unusual in making the payout schedule a purchase decision: on 2 Step Standard the reward cycle is locked from the dashboard before the first trade, and it changes the split by up to 40 points and adds or removes the consistency score. The trade-off is explicit.

How to choose for a systematic strategy

The score is the deciding row. A 35% score means no single day may exceed 35% of the profit accumulated in the cycle, so a strategy whose monthly result comes from one or two large sessions will fail the Monthly and On Demand cycles repeatedly while passing Bi-Weekly with the same trades. If the Monte Carlo of your strategy shows the largest day above a third of a typical month, take Bi-Weekly at 80% and keep the extra 20 points of split as the price of not being blocked.

The profitable-day gate (7 days of 0.5% or more) is the second filter: on a 100K Master that is seven closed days of $500 or more. A low-frequency system that trades twice a week needs a month to clear it, which makes the Monthly cycle a 60-day wait in practice.

Minimum reward request: 1% of the Master Account size on 2 Step Flex; check the same field on your program page.
