How to read this
The advertised price of an evaluation is the cost of one attempt, not the cost of getting funded. With a per-attempt pass rate of p, expected attempts are 1/p, and budgeting for high confidence costs materially more — the distribution has a long tail.
Published funnel numbers worth anchoring on: Earn2Trade reports an 8.89% pass rate, MyFundedFutures 20.35% advancing from evaluation, and Topstep puts the share of traders reaching a live funded account at 0.71%. At 8.89%, the median trader needs 8 attempts and an 80%-confidence budget covers 18.
Fee structures by firm: evaluation cost comparison · reset vs new account. The variable that moves p most is surviving the drawdown model — which is a sizing decision, not an entry decision.
