What does the Drift family trade?
The bias between sessions. The conditions are proprietary and stay in the code; the exit is a fixed schedule, so nobody decides anything at night and nobody decides anything in the morning. That exit rule is the first thing we read, before the net, because a schedule is a cap on how long the account is exposed.

How did the four tracks do over eighteen months?
| Track | Net, Apr 2025 – Sep 2026 | Worst day | Share of $5,000 limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drift XAU | +$27,370 | $1,517 | 30% |
| Drift NAS | +$21,402 | $1,750 | 35% |
| Drift MGC | +$11,110 | $911 | 18% |
| Drift MNQ | +$6,174 | $547 | 11% |
Twelve months modeled (April 2025 – March 2026) and six months live (April – September 2026), labeled separately on the strategy page. Not one day over half the limit in eighteen months.

What is Drift's payout potential?
On the modeled path, Drift XAU fits 6.7 payout units a year with a 0.31% blow rate; Drift NAS 5.3 units at 1.42%. A track running alone takes months to reach its first unit; inside the Index it rides the Index's 26 days on Forex.
Where did Drift land in the ranking?
Drift XAU opened at #12 of 32 in its first quarter, straight into Core, ahead of tracks that have been in the catalog since April. Drift NAS entered Specialist. The strategy ranking puts risk before return: net per dollar of drawdown first, blow rate second, day profit factor third.
How is a new family sized in the Index?
Like everything else. Each track gets its share of risk from its own volatility, capped at what it would carry alone. Drift XAU carries 8.0% of the risk on the Forex version, Drift NAS 6.4%; on Futures, Drift MGC 17.3%, because one contract is the smallest step. The weights were recalculated on September 30 and the whole history was recalculated with them.

A new family doesn't get a vote because it's new, and it doesn't get benched because it's new. It gets a weight. All ten families on one account: the PVE Index.

FAQ
Is Drift live or modeled? Both, labeled separately: modeled April 2025 – March 2026, live April – September 2026 on funded accounts. It joined the Index on September 30, 2026.
Why is Drift MGC 17.3% of the Futures version if it isn't the biggest earner? Because one contract is the smallest step on futures. A quiet track still rounds up to one contract, so the shares run lumpier than on forex.
Does a new family change how the other tracks are sized? Only through the quarterly volatility weights, which were recalculated on September 30 for every track, not just Drift.
