Instant Funding: rules card
Every Instant Funding rule (Instant, Clarity, IF1, IF Micro, Evolve, One-Phase, Two-Phase) that decides whether a strategy fits, from the firm’s own plan pages as re-checked by a tracker on 23 September 2026.
Instant Funding rules at a glance
| Rule | Current terms |
|---|---|
| Products | Instant Funding (flagship, no evaluation), Instant Funding Clarity, IF1, IF Micro Pro and Clarity, Evolve (challenge + funded), One-Phase and Two-Phase evaluations. Not to be confused with the “Instant Funding” program sold by Sure Leverage Funding |
| Automation (EAs, bots) | Self-developed EAs allowed; public third-party EAs restricted, and running the same public EA with identical settings as other traders counts as group copying and is prohibited (instantfunding.com help, propfirmdeals verified 23 Sep 2026) |
| Copy trading | Between your own accounts, including across prop firms |
| Drawdown | Instant: Smart Drawdown, 10% that tightens to 5% permanently once the account is 5% in profit; Evolve: 4% end-of-day trailing (Maximum Loss Limit) at both stages, up to 6% trailing loss; Clarity: no daily drawdown; others by plan |
| Daily loss limit | 4% on Instant and GO accounts; none on Evolve or Clarity; add-ons change limits |
| Consistency | 40% Best Day on One-Phase, Two-Phase and Evolve (challenge and funded); 15% single-trade cap on IF1 (20% with add-on); 25% on IF Micro Pro; 20% Best Day on IF Micro Clarity. A Clarity Account Drawdown flag cuts the split from 80% to 50%; a second flag breaches |
| Minimum days | Evolve: 5 qualifying days at 0.25% to pass and per payout; Instant: none stated (add-on removes minimum days elsewhere) |
| News | Allowed at both stages on Evolve; on Instant, the news and weekend add-on cuts leverage (FX 1:100 → 1:30, indices 1:20 → 1:10) |
| Overnight and weekend | Evolve: not permitted; Instant: weekend holding via paid add-on |
| Payout | Weekly after an initial 14-day delay, $25 minimum (tracker); 80% split, 90% via add-on; up to 90% marketed |
| Scaling | Evolve: +25% every 90 days at a 10% target, up to double the starting size |
| Add-ons | Priced as a percentage of the challenge fee: news and weekend +15%, +10% split +20%, lower target +20%, +2% max drawdown +20%, remove minimum days +10%, consistency to 20% on IF1 |
| Entity | UK-based, launched 2021; $18.7M+ paid since 2023 |

What this means for a systematic strategy
The flagship Instant account carries the rule to model first: the Smart Drawdown halves from 10% to 5% permanently the moment the account is 5% in profit, so a strategy with a historical drawdown above 5% is fine until it succeeds and then is not. Evolve is the conventional route (4% EOD trailing, 40% Best Day at both stages, 5 qualifying days), and Clarity removes the daily drawdown but adds a two-flag rule that cuts the split before it breaches.
EA policy is friendly to owned code and hostile to bought code: a commercial EA with default settings is treated as group copying.
Is Instant Funding worth it for a systematic strategy?
Evolve for a strategy with even days; not the flagship Instant for anything with a drawdown above 5%. The 40% Best Day rule at both Evolve stages is the sizing constraint, and the add-on pricing model means the “cheap” Instant account costs more once news, weekends and split are added.
