What this means for a systematic strategy

Funded Trading Plus was, until 2026, the CFD firm with no consistency rule anywhere. FT+ 2.0 changed that: 50% on Instant Funding from day one and 35% then 50% on the 1-Step Express, so the rule now appears on the products most traders buy. For a systematic strategy that is the row to model: 35% during the evaluation means no single day above roughly a third of the total, which a clustering NAS100 system can miss while still hitting the 10% target.

The rest is friendly: weekly payouts from day one with a $50 minimum, no minimum days, static 8% floor on the 2-Step, EAs allowed, news and weekends permitted outside Instant Funding. The execution path is the practical constraint: automation runs through MatchTrader, and cTrader is not covered by the usual bridges.

Is Funded Trading Plus worth it for a systematic strategy?

Yes, on the 2-Step Classic, once the consistency question is answered in writing. The static floor and 4% daily loss suit a defined-stop system, and weekly payouts from day one are the best cadence on any CFD card here. If the 2-Step turns out to carry the 35% / 50% rule, size so no day exceeds a quarter of expected monthly profit.

Skip Instant Funding for a coded strategy: no news, no weekends, 50% consistency from the first trade, at a premium price.
